Improved Atmosphere Dragon Age Redesigned FTG UI Mod ^The three essentials, in my opinion. Here's the list of mods I use that I posted in the other thread.
NEXUS MODS DRAGON AGE ORIGINS INSTALL
Can't get much easier to install mods than this.My icon was created by you're wondering what mods I use for hair, armour and romantic scenes - here are. Example: The mod “White Teeth” once unzipped will contain a single file “white_teeth.erf. Extract the contents and place them in >My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override. In the Dragon Age Mods folder, navigate through the DAI Mod Manager subfolder and open Daimodmanager.exe. Install the Mod Manager (ignore the Tool Suite), choose 64-bit, and Download All. Download the DAI Mod Manager file and unzip it into the Dragon Age Mods folder. In the Dragon Age Mods folder, add a subfolder: DAI Mods.See more Info to that in section 3 of the Guide. Now that DAModder is available i would recommend anyone to use that great tool to manage the Mods for Dragon Age, instead of installing them with daupdater or manually.

(Recommended) Faster Attack Speed - Tier 3 - Greatly increases your party's attack speed. There is also another wiki article that discusses Dragon Age mods more generally : Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies. Faster Attack Speed - Tier 2 - Moderately increases your party's attack speed. There are three versions to choose from: Faster Attack Speed - Tier 1 - Slightly increases your party's attack speed. Barbarians are great at the latter since they have boatloads of HP and their rage comes with those effects, which makes up for the fact that they typically can't wear heavy armor because I think they can't activate rage while doing so.Nexusmods dragon age This mod increases attack speed. However, there are situations where prevention isn't exactly an option (particularly enemies that have such high hit rate that even a high amount of AC won't help, and higher level spells where succeeding at the saving throw still results in you taking half damage), so you might want a tank with damage resistance (halving specific kinds of damage under certain conditions) abilities instead. In many cases, building a tank with high AC is the way to go, since damage prevention is generally better than damage mitigation.
NEXUS MODS DRAGON AGE ORIGINS PATCH
I don't know if Larian will implement ready actions (or already have during the last patch of EA), which allows you to prepare actions such as a melee attack against the first enemy that walks into range when it's not your turn.

There have been many arguments about how broken Shove as a bonus action is, and we don't yet know if the full release of BG3 will reclassify it as a standard action. It's currently classified as a bonus action in BG3 (meaning you can shove and attack/cast a spell in the same turn), while it's a standard action in tabletop DnD. Chances are your tank is built with Strength using heavy armor (unless they're a fully Dexterity-based tank instead), so they can walk up and shove or knock down approaching enemies off of ledges and such. There's also a common ability known as Shove that's available to everyone, and success rate is determined by your Strength score VS enemy athletics or acrobatics.

So if they aren't going for their own ally, they're probably going for your tank. Click to shrink.I think there are also a few spells that force enemies to randomly attack the closest character to them (I say randomly because if there are two characters in equal distance to them, RNG will determine who they'll target).
